Life really is good when you make the best of all
situations.  Summer is a busy time and most of us
don't have a chance go get much scrapbooking done
so pat yourself on the back if you are one of those
who has been able to set a little time aside each week
to do some scrapbooking.

Happiness Is......
Since I now preserve all of my memories by doing digital scrapbooking, I do a
little every few days.  I have been lucky to be able to go to my Mothers each
week and scan all her pictures.  Not only have I accomplished a goal I set
when I left my store, and that was to make sure all our family pictures were
saved and protected for later generations, but I have loved hearing Mother
tell the stories behind those pictures. Mother is now 85 but her mind is young
but we never know when she might not ber here to tell the stories of famiy.  I
was so excited after scanning, editing (in Picasa a program I love) and
labeling Mothers pictures that I dug out 1400 slides from our early marrage
and I just completed scanning all of them.  Am I tired of scanning pictures,
YES, I am but the feelingI have knowing that they are done copies backed up
and protected, is well worth the effort.  
What ever it takes to preserve you family pictures and tell the stories, do it.  
You will never be sorry and in years to come your family will be so greatful to
you. Enjoy summer!   LIFE IS GOOD!
